Agata is a classically trained, versatile musician and multi-instrumentalist with extensive experience as a soloist and ensemble performer. Throughout her career, she has worked with classical, jazz, and blues ensembles across Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Her rich musical background allows her to bring depth, creativity, and passion to both her performances and teaching.

Agata is a committed music teacher with 16 years of experience, working with young children and beginners. She cultivates an inclusive and encouraging environment where every child can flourish and find joy in music. Her caring and adaptable teaching methods have produced excellent outcomes. She has a particular talent for working with neurodivergent students, helping them achieve success and build confidence in their musical abilities.

Specialising in working with advanced-level Violin students, Agata helps them refine their technique, enhance their musicality, and master complex repertoire.Her lessons are tailored to individual goals, whether preparing for performances, competitions, or further study. She encourages students to explore diverse musical styles and develop both technical precision and emotional expression. With Agata’s guidance, advanced students build confidence, achieve excellence, and deepen their passion for music.​

Agata's repertoire includes timeless works such as Mozart’s Violin Concerto in G Major, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E Minor, The Swan by Saint-Saëns, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Air on the G String, Puccini's Nessun Dorma, Rachmaninov’s Vocalise and more.

 

Alongside her teaching, Agata composes music specifically for therapeutic purposes. She is also an acupuncture and bioresonance therapist, drawing on her deep understanding of sound, frequencies, and their effects on the human experience. Combining music and medicine, her compositions are designed to enhance wellness, emotional balance, and physical and mental rejuvenation, blending her classical training with the art of healing.

Franck Alba

Franck Alba is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter music teacher and producer.  Born in France but a resident of South London since the 1990’s, Franck has etched out a formidable portfolio, which includes recording with the seminal DJ/producer Andrew Weatherall and with his own groups, Low Road and Fireflies (the latter’s music was recently featured in the popular BBC One TVseries, ‘Killing Eve‘). 

As a member of the Anglo-French ghostrock group, Piano Magic, from 2002 to 2016, he toured numerous times across the Continent and played as far and wide as Moscow and Istanbul. He also featured on six of the band’s studio albums and a whole plethora of associated recordings, collaborating with the likes of Dead Can Dance, Low, John Grant and Vashti Bunyan.

Though he began studying violin at the age of six, Franck fell headfirst in love with guitars in his early teens.  At 16, heavily influenced by artists such as The Cure, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, Nick Drake, The Durutti Column and many more, he formed his first bands, ‘Siamese Angels’ and ‘Something Else’.

 

Before long, whilst studying at the jazz music school IMFP in Salon de Provence, he began playing professional concerts around his native south of France. On moving to London in the late 90’s, he joined...

Kasia is a proud graduate of the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where she honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of music under the guidance of exceptional mentors. Her time at this esteemed institution not only provided her with a solid technical foundation but also instilled in her a passion for continuous growth and artistic expression. It was here that Kasia began her journey towards becoming a highly respected and versatile musician.

Throughout her career, Kasia has had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with distinguished conductors, such as Sir Mark Elder, Henryk Mikolaj Gorecki, and Eamonn Dougan of The Sixteen. These experiences have given her invaluable insights into the intricacies of orchestral music, elevating her ability to perform with both technical precision and emotional depth. Additionally, she has received expert coaching from renowned musicians such as Eugene Asti, Peter Robinson, and Graham Johnson, who have played a significant role in refining her musical technique and artistry.

Kasia's performances have taken her to some of the most renowned venues in the UK, including the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Brighton Dome, and Barbican Hall. These experiences have shaped her into a versatile and highly skilled musician, able to perform in a variety of genres and settings. Her passion for music and commitment to excellence have earned her the respect of audiences and colleagues alike.

Now based in Ashford, Kasia dedicates her time to teaching violin, piano, and singing. She has a genuine commitment to helping students unlock their full potential, offering them the tools they need to excel in their musical pursuits. Whether working with beginners or advanced students, Kasia adapts her approach to suit each individual's learning style, ensuring they feel supported and inspired in their musical journey.

Katie Rose - Singer & Writer

Described by The Guardian as a 'fine singer,' and 'an eye (and ear) opener' by fRoots Magazine, Katie is passionate about supporting people to access the joy, power and magic of their voices.

 

With 20 years experience working with individuals including music, film, theatre & TV professionals, Katie offers a holistic approach, seeing voice & creative expression as intricately connected with all areas of life. An experienced facilitator, she brings a full creative toolkit and respects the uniqueness of every person.

Committed to making the magical benefits of singing accessible and inclusive, Katie co-directed mass choral fundraiser for WaterAid Sing for Water London (2017-2023) and directed Festival of Peace Croydon 2018, centring on community performances of the London Mozart Players Anthem for Peace.


She directs her Welcome Choir and has led and arranged music for over 20 choirs, five hospitals and organisations including NHS England, Mind, Breathe Arts Health Research, Carers Support Centre Croydon and Cardiac Friends.

 

A DBS-checked, fully insured member of the Natural Voice Network, Katie continues to develop her understanding of voice by volunteering alongside an expert multidisciplinary team at Lewisham Hospital Voice Clinic.

Katie's latest album Flame (2021) follows three previous albums and releases including a piece to accompany the award-winning film about the Dalai Lama, Road to Peace (2012).

Frank Amaro

Frank has been teaching guitar since 1986, sharing his wealth of knowledge and passion for music with countless students over the years. He holds a diploma from the prestigious Guitar Institute and is registered with the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT).

 

Over the years, Frank has tutored at Twang Guitars SE London, The Rock Project at Weald of Kent (Sevenoaks and Tonbridge), and Harris Academy Falconwood. His former students are now recording and touring with world-renowned artists such as Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Jorja Smith, Anne-Marie, and Kylie Minogue, as well as performing at BRIT School awards.

Frank covers a range of exam boards, including RGT, LCM, Trinity College, and ABRSM for classical guitar grades, as well as Rockschool and Trinity Rock & Pop for electric guitar and bass guitar. He also teaches students who want to learn for fun or as a hobby.

As an educator, Frank is deeply committed to his students' success. He offers comprehensive lessons tailored to each individual's needs, covering everything from fundamental techniques to advanced theory. His teaching approach equips students with the knowledge to confidently pass exams and perform in front of larger audiences.

 

Frank’s versatility as a guitarist allows him to teach various styles, including rock, POP, blues, jazz, classical, and more. He caters to students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players looking to refine their skills. His lessons encourage a deep understanding and appreciation of music while fostering the development of each student's unique style.

Anna Rutkowska

Anna is an accomplished percussionist, multi instrumentalist and educator who actively engages in teaching drums and percussion at primary and secondary music schools in Poland.

 

Her pedagogical approach prioritises meeting students' individual needs while fostering their natural artistic and technical development, with a strong emphasis on technique and improvisation. Anna’s teaching methods are both innovative and dynamic, offering students a well-rounded and engaging learning experience.

 

With a strong commitment to nurturing young talent, she has collaborated with esteemed international associations dedicated to promoting emerging percussionists, including Percussion Friends (Netherlands), Adams Percussion (Netherlands), and Marimba Festival (Germany).

Beyond her contributions as an educator, Anna is also highly regarded as a jury member for national and international percussion competitions. Her extensive experience, combined with her dedication to music education, has made her a sought-after mentor and adjudicator within the global percussion community.

Lesson Bundles

Students can purchase bundles of 5 or 10 lessons. We ask that you arrive on time, as late arrivals will shorten the lesson.

If you need to miss a lesson, please provide 24h notice to avoid charges.

If you do miss a lesson, we'll do our best to reschedule. Your teacher will work with you to find a suitable time.​

Missing a lesson can significantly impact your progress, so we encourage you to stay consistent.

In addition to attending lessons, regular practice at home is essential.

 

Even 15 minutes of daily practice makes a big difference and ensures that you're ready to advance in each lesson.

Practice reinforces the skills and techniques learned during lessons, allowing you to make steady progress.

Home visits are available for an additional £30 per 5 lesson bundle and £50 per 10 lesson bundle which covers travel time and expenses to provide the convenience of lessons in your home. Prices may vary depending on the teacher you choose and your agreement.

By providing assistance, we aim to encourage dedication and excellence in both practical and theory exams, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential and pursue their passion for music.

  • 10% Scholarship for achieving Merit

  • 15% Scholarship for achieving Distinction

  • These scholarships apply to ABRSM Grades 1 to 8.

  • Both practical and music theory are required to maintain scholarship eligibility.

  • Miss Agata's students only unless agreed otherwise.

  • Fees must be paid termly in advance to secure the scholarship discount.

  • Missed lessons are non-refundable, though every effort will be made to reschedule if possible

  • Spaces are limited.
